SustainabiliCITY is an international project aimed at students from universities within the CIVICA consortium. The goal of the initiative is to engage young people in addressing challenges related to sustainable urban development. Key topics include urban resilience to climate change, sustainable urban policies, and civic participation. Through inter-university collaboration and an interdisciplinary approach, participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to design innovative solutions for urban policy challenges.
Names of all 21 CIVICA Ambassadors for the academic year 2024/2025 were made public last week. SGH Warsaw School of Economics will be represented by Dominika Niedźwiecka and Cezary Pendras. CIVICA ambassadors have been elected at all alliance universities. This network has a mission to foster actively bottom-up projects and to participate in formal and informal by promoting interaction and exchange. Ambassadors are to be the first point of contact to CIVICA for their peers.
SGH Warsaw School of Economics, just behind the Faculty of Management at University of Warsaw and Kozminski University, was among the highest-rated business universities in Poland, according to the latest ranking by Eduniversal, a global agency specializing in evaluating educational institutions. The UW Faculty of Management, AKL and SGH were the only ones in Poland to receive the “five palms of excellence” for 2024.
