For the first time, the Warsaw School of Economics has been included in the prestigious “Financial Times” Masters in Finance 2025 ranking, which lists the world’s leading universities offering master’s programmes in finance and accounting. The SGH is the only Polish public university to appear in this ranking, coming in at 70th place. Inclusion in the ranking represents a significant distinction and an affirmation of the high quality of education provided by the SGH.

The “Financial Times” ranking is among the world’s most respected and widely recognised assessments of finance study programmes. It takes into account, among other factors, the career paths of graduates, the international profile of the programme, the quality of the academic staff, and the ratio of tuition costs to post-graduation earnings.

“The SGH’s presence of in this ranking confirms that our programmes meet the needs of the global financial market and that our graduates are valued not only in Poland but also abroad,” says Piotr Wachowiak, PhD, DSc, SGH Professor and Rector of the University.

“This achievement is also the result of the efforts of our entire academic community: lecturers, administrative staff, students, doctoral candidates and alumni, who contribute to building the SGH brand worldwide.”

This distinction forms part of the university’s internationalisation strategy and marks an important milestone in strengthening the SGH’s position as a leader in economic and business education in Central and Eastern Europe.
