On March 4, Commissioner for Economy and Productivity, Implementation and Simplification, Valdis Dombrovskis, hosted a youth policy dialogue in Brussels, engaging directly with young leaders on key economic issues. The discussion centered on the EU’s economic priorities, the role of young people in decision-making, and challenges related to competitiveness, digital transformation, and regulatory streamlining.
SustainabiliCITY is an international project aimed at students from universities within the CIVICA consortium. The goal of the initiative is to engage young people in addressing challenges related to sustainable urban development. Key topics include urban resilience to climate change, sustainable urban policies, and civic participation. Through inter-university collaboration and an interdisciplinary approach, participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to design innovative solutions for urban policy challenges.
While on a visit to Warsaw, on 15 January, 2025, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, visited SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where he met with students of our university. In 2023, the Senate of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics awarded President Zelensky the title of doctor honoris causa.
