Energy Week qualified for the finals as the best project of the year in Poland

The flagship project of the SKN Energy Week at SGH qualified for the finals of the nationwide competition for the StRuNa research clubs in the Project of the Year 2024 category.
Energy Week is a week-long conference dedicated to topics related to the energy sector, both in Poland and internationally. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the competition which took place from 13 to 17 May at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and was inaugurated by the SGH Rector, prof. Piotr Wachowiak, and the Governor of Mazovia, Mariusz Frankowski.
The conference addressed key issues pertaining to the ongoing energy transition, including Poland’s energy security, development of emission-free energy sources, financing of the green transition, and the importance of the young generation in shaping the future of sustainable energy. Panellists and speakers represented the industry in the energy sector and the academic world, as well as government administration, ministries, local government organisations, and the research club members.
Competition winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 23 November at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. SKN Energetyka won the 2023 StRuNa Media award in the previous edition of the competition.
