International Visegrad Fund Grants

The Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence, in cooperation with the Visegrad Fund, is accepting applications for research grants for archival research in the field of European integration in the HAEU collections in Florence.

The Historical Archives collections include archives of European institutions, non-governmental organizations operating at the European level, and private individuals who have made significant contributions to the unification of Europe (e.g., Bronisław Geremek, Danuta Hübner, Joseph Ratzinger). The Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence were established in 1985 and serve as the official archive of the EU.

Target group of the grant programme: early-career researchers (e.g., PhD students, postdoctoral fellows) working on topics related to European integration (historians, political scientists, lawyers)
Geographic scope: applications are accepted from individuals from Visegrad Group countries, the Eastern Partnership, and the Western Balkans
Grant: €5,000
Application deadline: 27th of April
