The Network of Diverse European Societies (NODES), launched in 2025 by the European Union Society, continues to expand its presence across Europe. In recent months, the network has welcomed a new member – European Generation from Bocconi University, further strengthening its links within the CIVICA alliance and bringing together student organisations from several of its member universities.

Today, NODES connects student organisations from University College London, Kyiv School of Economics, Hertie School, KU Leuven, IE University, Bocconi University, and SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The network focuses on cooperation between students engaged in European policy, public affairs, and international initiatives. Its activities include joint webinars, exchange of organisational experience, and the development of policy-oriented content across partner universities.

The initiative was founded by Jakub Mirkowski and is currently coordinated together with Victoriya Hermanchuk (KSE EU Club). Its objective is to build more structured and continuous cooperation between student organisations. Rather than limiting collaboration to one-off events, the network creates a framework for ongoing joint initiatives and shared projects.

One of the upcoming projects within NODES is the European Climate Policy Lab, scheduled for May 2026. The initiative will take the form of an online discussion series addressing key challenges in European climate policy, including climate disinformation, the future of the European Green Deal, and the role of cities in climate governance, bringing together students and invited experts from partner universities.

Since its launch in late 2025, NODES has already developed into a platform for cross-border cooperation among student organisations engaged in European affairs, with further joint initiatives and expansion underway.
