Management, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation – a New Master's Programme

From the new academic year 2025/2026, the SGH Warsaw School of Economics SGH invites you to a new master's degree programme conducted in English: Management, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation (METI).
The new programme fits perfectly into the offer of SGH for students who want to gain knowledge in the area of creating entrepreneurial mindset, innovative thinking with the use of new technologies. The program is addressed to students from Poland and abroad.
The basic assumption that guided us (the team of Management Institute employees) in creating the new programme was the visible gap in the educational market concerning teaching entrepreneurial and managerial competences in the conditions of technological changes and the growing role of innovation in modern organizations. The available offers from other universities offered only a part of such competences. As employees of the Institute of Management, we decided to take a comprehensive approach to inspire young people who, as entrepreneurs, innovators or leaders, will be able to design such business ecosystems in which organizations will thrive regardless of external conditions. After completion of METI, graduates will have in-depth knowledge of the importance of strategy, business relations and the human factor in the process of innovation, advanced technologies and knowledge-intensive activities. METI offers gaining the competences necessary to initiate and develop your own business activity, acquiring the ability to analyze innovation processes, the ability to initiate new innovation processes, or acquiring the skills necessary to create and evaluate business opportunities in the high-tech sector.
The mission of SGH is to shape leaders in response to the challenges of the future. Therefore, the METI course fits perfectly into the strategic goals of SGH by educating young people who can actively respond to challenges observed in the external environment. Paying special attention to technological issues, innovations while crafting entrepreneurial attitudes means that graduates will gain competences that will prepare them to fulfill responsible roles in the rapidly changing landscape of modern organizations.
METI major naturally fills a gap in the educational services market, placing management at the intersection of new technologies, innovations and creating entrepreneurial attitudes. By offering a coherent educational program of high substantive quality, supported by scientific research conducted in the area of modern management. The METI programme has also been confronted with the structure of the courses offered at the best world universities, providing a basis for acquiring knowledge in areas that are currently key competences in modern management. A METI graduate is: an entrepreneur, a start-up manager, a manager/director in high-tech companies or a consultant for innovation/technology/digitization.
The new major was prepared by employees of the Institute of Management at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, who conduct active scientific activities in the area of organizational management and consumer behavior. They lead and/or participate in research teams implementing projects financed from various sources, including the National Science Center, the National Center for Research and Development, the National Agency for Academic Exchange or European Union projects. Close cooperation with business will provide graduates with practical knowledge at a world level.
We do not forget about our commitment to the young generation # SGH shapes leaders.
