SGH Warsaw School of Economics climbs “The Financial Times" global Masters in Finance 2026 ranking
The SGH Warsaw School of Economics has climbed eight places in the prestigious “The Financial Times” Masters in Finance 2026 ranking, which lists the world’s best universities offering master’s programmes in finance and accounting. This is the second time SGH has featured in this ranking, this year coming in at 62nd place. SGH is the only Polish public university included in this ranking.
The “FT” ranking is one of the most important and widely recognised global assessments of finance degree programmes. It takes into account, among other things, graduates’ career paths, the international nature of the programme, the quality of the teaching staff, and the ratio of tuition fees to post-graduation earnings.
“Our rise in the 'Financial Times' ranking is, of course, the result of the work of many people at our university, including lecturers and academic staff, students, PhD candidates and graduates, who are building the SGH brand worldwide.
This distinction is part of our university’s internationalisation strategy. A higher position in the ranking confirms the quality of education offered by SGH. This is an important distinction for us, marking a significant step in further strengthening SGH’s position as a leader in economic and business education in Central and Eastern Europe,” said the Rector and SGH Professor Piotr Wachowiak.
