The SGH Warsaw School of Economics community expresses its deep sorrow over this senseless attack, which occurred on university premises, where by definition there can be no place for violence. We join in pain with the relatives of the victims and the entire academic community of Charles University.
This was the most tragic mass attack in recent Czech history. It was carried out by a young man, a student of the university. Czech police is investigating the perpetrator's motives.
